Avi Sharma
He began his career in customer service, where he gained early insight into consumer needs, desires and behaviour — a foundation that enriched his later career in digital marketing and advertising in Canada, where he spent years honing his creative skills, shaped stories, and led campaigns for numerous brands.
Yet, amidst the noise of campaigns and deadlines, he felt a quiet pull — a desire to create something more meaningful. He often found himself reflecting on his culture and the beauty of traditions. That reflection turned into a mission: to build a cultural bridge — one that honors the richness of traditional craftsmanship and modernity.
Driven not by trend, but by intention, he founded Ekaavi to celebrate artistry over automation, soul over scale. Every product is a tribute to the hands that craft it and the centuries of tradition it carries — all while inviting the modern world to experience it through a fresh lens.
